Zimbabwe Newspapers (1980) Ltd stands as the oldest newspaper publisher and commercial printer in Zimbabwe, with a rich history dating back to 1891. As the largest publisher of newspapers in the nation, it plays a significant role in the media landscape.

The organization is known for its flagship daily newspapers, including The Herald, The Chronicle, and H-Metro. Additionally, it produces two notable Sunday publications, The Sunday Mail and The Sunday News.

Anchoring its Mutare unit is The Manica Post, recognized as the largest provincial newspaper in Zimbabwe, published weekly. In response to the country's linguistic diversity, Zimpapers has recently expanded its offerings to include publications in Zimbabwe's two main indigenous languages. The Shona weekly, Kwayedza, is produced in Harare, while the Ndebele weekly, Umthunywa, is published in Bulawayo.
